Lewis Curtis Hammons

Lewis Curtis Hammons, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. He was born March 22, 1926 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Lewis Bryant Hammons and Addie S. Gray Hammons. He worked for Dickson Tile, was a brick mason and member of the Bricklayers Union. He was a member of Lifeline Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 40 years Alma Jean Hammons; and sisters, Frances Nancisco and Freda Padgett. He is survived by son, Lewis C. Hammons of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Kelsie Hammons of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Ashtyn Hammons, Kane Hammons of Beebe, Arkansas and his loving caregiver, Crystal Butler of Little Rock. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209, (501) 455-5800, interment to follow at Martin Cemetery.
