James Soule, 80, of North Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. James was born in Cottonwood, Arizona to Louis "Bill" and Pauline Soule and moved to North Little Rock in 1940. He graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1948 and Central Collage in 1950. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Parkin Printing Company and SP Richard and was still with Arkansas State Employee Association. James was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. James ran the Food Pantry at the church for many years. He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Eleanor Jeannine Soule; children, Debra Hedden (Birchel), James Soule, Jr. (Rhonda); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Buck Soule and many friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2011, at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Mitchell officiating. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (501-791-7400).
