Calvin Leon Cato

Calvin Leon Cato, born Aug. 20, 1930, in Warm Springs, Ark., passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Conway, Ark., in the presence of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Bertha Cato; two brothers, Hulen and Alvis Cato; two sisters, Jewel Cato Stout and Alma Cato; as well as his beloved granddaughter, Shannon Sample. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Flossie Brimer Cato and six children, Mary Jane (Jim Hardy) of Wooster, Ark.; Kathy (Clayton Jones); Jerl Cato (Pam); Darrell Cato (Sharon); Joanie (Jerry Mahan); and Polly (Greek Miller), all of Conway; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6–8 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at the funeral home. Funeral service are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
