Bill Wood

Bill Wood, 54, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 25th. Mr. Wood is preceded in death by his parents, Ophelia and Horace Wood of Jonesboro. He is survived by two children, Elizabeth and Brian; a step-son, Trey Davis; three brothers, Jack Wood and wife Norma of Gainesville, Florida, Ronnie Wood of Palm Springs, California, and Randy Wood and wife Sherry of Memphis, Tennessee; and a sister, Donna Wood of Littleton, Colorado. He was a graduate of Nettleton High School and ASU Jonesboro. Bill was a loving father and brother. He greatly loved and enjoyed his children, his family, his work, and Razorback sports. Bill was also a successful businessman as part owner of two Mazzio's Pizza restaurants in Beebe and Wynne with his long time business partners Ron and Joy Tapley. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Beebe First United Methodist Church, with cremation to follow.
