Ova Laverna Farmer

Ova Laverna Farmer, 94, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice Home. Preceded in death by her husband, Orval A. Farmer; a sister and a brother. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jerry and Kay Farmer of Bryant, Louise and Joe Younce of Flint, Michigan and Jan and Mel Whitney of Jacksonville; six grandchildren, Jill Tate (Roger), Jonathan Farmer, Marsha Cross (Bob), Joe Younce Jr., Kim Swisher (Gary) and Joan Khachouf (Faisal); six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, November 14, 2011, 10 a.m., at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Revs. James Moore and Terry Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Paragould. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
