Mary Peyton "Pate" Fletcher Hart

Mary Peyton "Pate" Fletcher Hart, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Born October 27, 1925 in Lawrence County to the late E.P. and Elsie (Oliver) Fletcher. She is also preceded in death by three sisters; Alice Elizabeth Speck, Jane McDonough and Sue Hipson. She is survived by husband of 63 years, D. Benson Hart since February 20, 1949 of the home, three sons; Blake (Debi) Hart of Walnut Ridge, Eric (Becky) Hart of Malvern, Ark. and Jeff (Melanie) Hart of Jonesboro and daughter, Jennifer (David) Fogleman of Marion, Ark.; seven grandchildren; Jeffrey (Charla) Hart of Jonesboro, John R. Hart of Armenia, Kristin (Garren) Ward of Walnut Ridge, Natalie (Adam) Keeth of Rogers, Ark., Houston Hart of Bono, Will Fogleman and Peyton Fogleman both of Marion, Ark.; five great-grandchildren, Tristin Hart, Acelen Hart, Chloe Keeth, Tripp Hart and Garistin Ward. Also surviving is sister, Jennieve McNabb of Pocahontas. Throughout her life, she derived great satisfaction from her ability as a creative and talented seamstress, a gift she shared with all her friends and family. Many people were the recipients of her generous and inventive skill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge for the elevator fund. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011 at First Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge with Steve Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday from 5-7 p.m. also at the church. McNabb Funeral Home was in charge of making arrangements.
