Gregory Alan Downs, 50, of Camden, died Saturday, Nov.19, 2011 at his home in Camden. Greg was born Oct 6, 1961 in Camden. He was a member of Timothy United Methodist Church in Camden, and retired from South Western Bell Telephone Company as a technician. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Emery Bernard Downs; a brother, Harold Doug Foster; his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ollie W. Walker; uncles, Ollie W. Walker Jr., and George Robert Walker; and his aunts, Virginia Walker McCarty and Mary Walker Haygood. He is survived by his mother, Alice W. Foster Downs of Camden; uncle Rankin McCarty of El Dorado; and cousins, Paul McCarty and Larry D. McCarty both of El Dorado. Graveside services for Greg will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in El Dorado with Rev. Mike Jennings officiating.
