Margie M Robinson

Margie M. Robinson, 88, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Little Rock, Ark. She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Capps, Ark., to the late Louis Burl and Tilda Mae Ethel (Nelson) Payne. On Feb. 18, 1944, she married the love of her life, Joseph E. Robinson of Capps, Ark. As husband and wife, they enjoyed 60 wonderful years together. Her husband preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2004. Mrs. Robinson was a member of the Capps Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook, sew, garden, and help others in need. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her son: Charles (Barbara) Robinson of North Little Rock, Ark.; three grandsons: David (Karla) Robinson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Aaron(Christy) Robinson of Jacksonville, Ark., and Eric (Lisa) Robinson of Searcy, Ark.; seven great-grandchildren: Grant, Caleb and Hannah of Searcy, Ark., Mia and Alex of Jacksonville, Ark., Emory and Elenie of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sister's-in-law: Doris Payne of Harrison, Ark., and Lelia Robinson of Harrisonville, Mo., and brother-in-law: Frank Robinson of Kansas City, Mo. A special thank you to the staff at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Arkansas Hospice for their love and care shown to Margie.
