James Cephas Waddle, 93, of Alread, Ark. passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 in Clinton, Ark. He was born Oct. 7, 1918 at Copeland, Ark. to the late Elmer and Ledona (McDonald) Waddle. He was a farmer and loved to play and coach baseball. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Friendship Church. Waiting for him in Heaven are his parents; his wife of almost 67 years, Fern Koone Waddle; his son, J.C. Waddle; two brothers, Cleophas and Alphus Waddle; and two sisters, Anna Bell Ebitson and Beulah Anderson. Those planning to meet him later are: Two sons, Vick Waddle (Carolyne) of Morrilton, Ark., and Jim Waddle (JoAnn) of Oak Grove, Ark.; two daughters, Berniece Jones (Dee Linn) and Betty Pack (Leonard) of Alread, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers: Rocky Jones, Tim Waddle, Calvin Jones, Bryan Waddle, Don Koone, and Scott Koone. Honorary Pallbearers: Tim Hearing, Leon Millsaps, Ralph Campbell, Wayne Millsaps, Lyle Koone, Chris Thomas, Kevin Williams, and Ramon Chavez. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Ark. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Friendship Church Rupert, Ark. with Pastor Ester Bass officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
