Evelyn Harris

Evelyn Fontaine Harris, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011. She was a retired librarian for Oak Grove Elementary School, was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church and Kappa Kappa Iota Teachers Sorority. She is survived by her niece, Margie Payne; nephew, Jimmie Rogers; three cousins, Bonnie Outlaw, Ann Coker and Judith Furcron; a special friend, Karen Mager, and her care-giver and very close friend, Anne Powell-Black. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Harris; son, Bob; and daughter, Beth. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Private interment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Warren.
