Nellie Tribble Watts

Nellie Mae Tribble Watts, 83, of White Hall, formerly of Monticello, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at White Hall Nursing Home in White Hall. She was born Sept. 25, 1926 in Monticello. She was the widow of Robert E. Watts Jr., retired from Burlington Industries, a breast cancer survivor and a Protestant. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Tribble and Effie Alberta McHan Tribble and was preceded in death by one brother, Travis Tribble, one sister, Kathleen Cox, and one grandson, Nathan Lee McClain. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Ann McClain of White Hall, Martha Scruggs of England and Cheryl Jones of North Little Rock; one brother, Dewayne Tribble of El Dorado; two sisters, Pauline Daril of Pine Bluff and Mary Kaufman of Oregon; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. Visitation will be 11-1 Tuesday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
