Lois Johnson

Lois Johnson, 88, of Sardis, passed away September 29, 2011, in Bryant. She was born September 25, 1923 in Goodwin, Arkansas to the late Sam and Jenetta (Dover) Jones. She was a member of The Benton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a loving mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Johnson, in 2006, three sisters, and five brothers. Survivors include one son, J. D. Johnson and wife Vickie of Benton; one daughter Jean Smith and husband, Jack of Sardis; five grandchildren, Debra Hope and husband, Bill of Benton, Kelly Smith and wife, Kathy of Sardis, Danielle House of Sardis, Jennifer Mashburn and husband, Jeff of Benton, and Jessica Cicero and husband, Brad of Bryant; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Patsy Howton of Van Buren, and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton with David Howell and Gary Melton officiating.
