Mary Mack Maciejewski

Mary Mack (nee Reuter) Maciejewski, age 96, of Chicago passed away Sunday Oct. 9, 2011. She was born on Oct. 10, 1914 to her parents, August Reuter and Katherine Hummel in Chicago, Ill. Mary was employed in Chicago as a cafeteria worker and worked in a grocery store chain. She leaves behind a son, Walter, his wife Eroca (Waymen), and a daughter, Kathryn. She was grandmother to David, Daniel, Tony, Bryan and Mary Beth. She was great-grandmother to Samantha, Delanie, Julianna, Hayden, Garrett, Daniele, Brandi, Jessica, Valerie, Tess, and Maia, She was great-great-grandmother to Taylor and Bridget. She was predeceased by her husband Tony, brothers Clarence, John, William and Walter, sisters Margaret, Bernadette, Agnes and Mildred, son, Thomas, daughter Diane, daughter-in-law Christine, and great-granddaughter, Ashley. Activities she enjoyed included: Playing cards (pinochle, poker and solitaire), bingo, being an active Collegian in the Women of the Moose (WOTM), puzzle solving, knitting, fishing, dancing and musical shows. A quiet gathering will be held at Roller-Chenal (501) 224-8300 on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. with a short service to follow.
