Geroldine Marks

Geroldine "Geri" Marks, 61, of North Little Rock, the heavens rejoiced as she entered the gates on Sunday, October 16, 2011. From the moment you met her you knew you were loved. She loved life and enjoyed being outside working in her yard. When you couldn't find her there you could go to the closest yard sale and there she'd be filling her arms with something to give to someone that might need it. She had several pastimes but collecting was her favorite from Hot Wheels Nascars to antiques. She was an inspiration to those around her always pushing you to do and be what the Lord meant for you to be. In the past couple of years she filled her life with directing people to turn their lives toward God. She was preceded in death by loving parents, Gerald Lee and Lowetta Guinn Rhodes. She is survived by her husband, Greg Marks; two sons, Jeric and Michelle Goodrum, Vince and Edie Goodrum all of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Warren, Jeric, Mya, Laser, Haylee and Jazmyn Goodrum; sisters, Kathy Myers, Kim Rhodes and Lila Rhodes all of North Little Rock. Geri was loved by friends to numerous to mention who will always remember her giant heart. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday at the funeral Home.
