Martha Lane Rhodes, 91, a long time resident of North Little Rock, Ark, departed this life on October 15,2011 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born May 27, 1920 in Kea, Arkansas. She attended Scipio A. Jones High School and was a long time employee of Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home. Survivors include daughters, Lillie Rhodes Lawrence (Charles), Joyce Rhodes Fagan (Homer); sons, Clyde Rhodes (Emma), Billy Rhodes (Beverly), Donald Rhodes (Dolly), Michael Rhodes (Faye). Her husband of 51 years, Elijah Rhodes Sr. and son, Elijah Rhodes Jr. preceded her in death. Funeral services Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at King Solomon Baptist Church, 1304 Pine Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas at 11am. A viewing will be at the church prior to the funeral from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
