Robbia Jeanette Cannaday Tomlinson departed this life October 16, 2011. Jeanette was born November 16, 1934 in Huntsville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bea Cannaday, and her sister, DeAnna Sue Cannaday. She is survived by the love of her life, David Ray Tomlinson, her three children, James David Tomlinson and wife, Susan; Robbia Tomlinson Mays and husband, Jeff; Billy Floyd Tomlinson and wife Claire, nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. In spite of a lengthy illness, she enjoyed life-spending time with family and friends. In her high school years, Jeanette helped her mother, Bea Cannaday build Cannaday Abstract & Title Company. She married David Tomlinson, October 31, 1953; travelled the United States with David and children as he worked for the USC&GS. They returned to Clinton in 1963 to shoulder family responsibilities; to own and operate the family business. Jeanette was involved in the Clinton United Methodist Church and civic organizations until her illness kept her at home. She is dearly loved and will be missed very much. Pallbearers: Josh Tomlinson, Adam Tomlinson, Jared Bridges, Ed Scroggins, Hunter Mays, Kevin Jensen, and Curtis Dunham. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Clinton United Methodist Church with Pastor Vaughn Marsden officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton City Cemetery.
