Earl Dean Frederick, 79, of Bismarck, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at Hospice Home Care Inpatient Center in Little Rock. He was born on Sept. 1, 1932, in Harrison, Ark.; and was the son of George and Annice Frederick. Earl was retired from the United States Air Force, after 21 years of service, which included time during the Korean Conflict, Cold War, and Vietnam. While stationed in Turkey, Earl established a meeting place for Church of Christ worship services. Earl was one of the members in establishing the building of the Bismarck Church of Christ and was an active member. Earl also retired from the Cotton Belt Rail Road after 13 years of service, and loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Annice Frederick, and a brother, Jess David Frederick. Survivors include his wife Wanda Frederick, of Bismarck; son, Dale Frederick (Carolyn), of Fayetteville; daughters, Tammy Petre (Philip), of Cabot, and Sheila Jones (Larry), of Hot Springs; grandchildren Sgt. Steven Petre, US Army (Jessica), Sgt. Brent Jones, US Army (Stacy), and Destin Jones; great grandchildren, Skyler Petre, Jimmy Petre, Alexis Jones, and Allie Jones; a brother, Bob Frederick, of Diamond City; sisters, Yvonne Miller, of Lead Hill, and Kay Davis, of Cumming, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Huson Funeral Home Chapel, at 7700 Hwy 107 (JFK & Club Road), in Sherwood, Arkansas. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Huson Funeral Home.
