JERRY FUESS, 95, of Little Rock, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at Hospice Home Care. He was born April 4, 1916, in Little Rock, a son of the late Arthur and Edna (Wallace) Fuess. Mr. Fuess was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Emma Katherine "Katie" Fuess. After high school, Jerry went to work for the Federal Reserve Bank in Little Rock, and later moved to Pine Bluff, where he was Vice President of Simmons 1st National Bank for 21 years. In 1970, he moved to New Port Richey, Fla., to become president of Ellis National Bank. Mr. Fuess was a World War II Veteran and attended Fellowship Bible Church. Survivors are his children, Jerry Fuess Jr., of Temple Terrace, Fla.; Thomas Fuess (Mary), of Fort Myers, Fla.; Suzanne Patton, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Jennifer Favi and Nick Patton Jr.; and three great-grandchildren. Private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark.
