Wayne Roy Garver

WAYNE ROY GARVER, 77, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2011. He was born on Nov. 14, 1933, in Massillon, Ohio, to Cletus and Alma Garver. During his enlistment with the United States Marine Corps, Wayne served two tours of duty in Vietnam and retired as a Gunnery Sergeant (E-7). He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Woodall of Conway, Ark., Kim Reising (Mike), of Enola, Ark.; sister, Judy Mayres (Leo), of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, Amy Garver and Nicci Garver, of Gastonia, N.C., Blake Woodall and Carrie Bryant, of Conway, Ark., Amber Shatraw of Clay, N.Y., Jamie Reising, of Little Rock, Ark., Jesse Reising, of Bryant, Ark; great-grandchildren, Aidyn Edward Williams, of Clay, N.Y.; daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Garver of Gastonia, N.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie May Garver, parents, and son, Wayne Roy Garver Jr. Private graveside services will be in North Carolina at a later date.
