Wilhelmina Hadley

WILHELMINA HADLEY passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011. She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Centerville, Miss., to Mitch Whitaker and Hettie Swift. She married Otha Lee Hadley and made her home in Little Rock, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Lee Hadley; 10 siblings; and granddaughter, Anita "Kim" Shells. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Naomi Swift, Angela (Tony) Brown, Otha (Ann) Lee Hadley Jr.; sister, Mary L. Riley; sister in law, Gertrude Jeanette; grandchildren Yvette Swift, Zabrina Swift, Pretrescia (William) Walker; great grandchildren, Brandon Brown, Erika Brown, Kiara Swift, Bruce Swift-Spicer, Haley Spicer, LaShandra Jones, Mykeiceya Storay, Charlotte Swift; great great grandchildren, Aniya Brown, Akeira Brown, Bryce Flint, Jaylen Jones; host of nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Nezzie Duffey and Ethel Gipson. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Arms of Peace Funeral Home. We will celebrate her home-going on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Pilgrim Rest MBC #4, 5100 Frazier Pike, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will be at Rest in Peace Memorial Gardens, Hensley, Ark. The family would like to thank Dr. Walker and Walker Internal Medicine Clinic for the many years of care. Also, thanks to the nurses and staff of Baptist Little Rock Intensive Care Unit South and the Critical Care Waiting Room coordinators for their loving care and kindness during our Mina's transition.
