Elbert Craver

Elbert Craver, 87, of Jacksonville, born August 27, 1924 in Birmingham, Ala. to Rufus and Lucille Craver, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011. He was Baptist. He was retired from the US Air Force and the US Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Edward, Adam, and Eugene Craver; and one sister, Charlene. Elbert is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mittie Craver; two sons, Edward and Anthony Craver; and three daughters, Barbara Long, Geraldine McNeal, and Diane Craver. He is also survived by one brother, Sherman Craver; three sisters, Mary, Ruth Ann, and Ezell; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011, at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main Street, Jacksonville, Ark., with Funeral Service following at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at 11 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
