Benjamin Franklin Johnson

Benjamin Franklin Johnson IV, 76, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011. He was a retired Paramedic with M.E.M.S, a member of Ozark Regional Land Trust and creator of the New Pear Farm Land Trust. He was a United States Army Korean veteran serving as an Air Evac Medic and later in a Arkansas National Guard Helicopter Rescue Unit. He was a high school graduate of St. Stephens School in Austin, Texas and received a Bachelor's degree from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pauline Hall Dale, of Sherwood; daughter, Jacqueline Sue Johnson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; son, George J. Nelson, of Fayetteville; step daughter, Linda S. Nevels of Grain Valley, Missouri; two step sons, David S. Nelson, of Dawson, Georgia and Raymond L. Nelson of Little Rock; sister, Anne Wellman Beadle Prichard of Fayetteville; three grandsons, Benjamin Alexander Dickson, Sean Murphy Dickson and Josiah Loyd Nelson; two granddaughters, Lydia Marie Nelson and Emily Anne Johnson; and one nephew, Timothy Bentley Dallett, of Montreal Quebec. There will be a private family service at the Rieff Chapel Cemetery at Johnson Pear Farm. Memorials may be made to the Ben F.
