Gene Porter Staggs

Gene Porter Staggs of Little Rock, Arkansas was born December 27, 1940 in Pottsville, Arkansas the son of the late William Elul and Velma Porter Staggs. He was a member of Salina Heights Christian Church in Salina, Kansas and was a retired cabinet maker. Mr. Staggs died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at UAMS at the age of 70. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores (D.J.) Staggs, daughter, Juanita Fisher, Granddaughter, Kimberly Wiegert and a brother Kenneth Staggs. Survivors: children, Rita and husband Bryan Wiegart; Virgal and wife Angela Morrow; brother, Carrol and wife Betty Staggs of Little Rock; sister, Floy Jeanne and husband Alton Cash of Morrilton; grandchildren, Rickey and Michelle Morrow, Jeremy Jackson, Jordan Morrow, and Alexis Morrow; seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
