Mary Jeanette Phillips

Mary Jeanette Phillips, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born to the late Willie Andrew and Ruth Cook Murtishaw in Holly Grove, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Willie Faye Douglas. Mary was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She retired as a Court Clerk with the Pulaski County Courts. Her greatest passion was her family. She was an avid Razorback Fan and loved her crossword puzzles. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Donald Phillips; two sons, Donnie Phillips and wife Michele of Sherwood, John Phillips and wife Tina of North Little Rock; one daughter, Terrie James and husband Danny of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Keith James Jr. and wife, Lisa, Andrew Phillip and wife, Rachael, Wes Phillips and Olivia Phillips; two great-grandchildren, Danny James, III and Genesis James; two sisters Virginia Page and Lois Spurlock; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, Ark.
