Pamela Dee Chitwood

Pamela Dee Chitwood, 63, of Platte City, Mo., passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. Memorial services will held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00pm - St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Hot Springs, Ark. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Leukemia and Lymphoma Assn. or Cancer Research Center of your choice. Pamela was born August 17, 1948, in Hot Springs, AR the daughter of Van Hampton and Winnifred Irene Lyell. She will always be remembered as a best friend and lifetime companion, loving mama and Mimi, friend to all, creative genius, courageous, graceful and caring soul. Pamela is survived by her husband John R., daughter Candace G. (Spud), son, Ricky A. (Tiffany), mother, Winnifred, brother Van Hampton "Trip" (Linda), grandchildren; Brody, Cody and Dakota, several nieces and nephews. On September 24, 2011 at 5 p.m., there will be a special mass, at the request of the Paul Meeks family, held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hot Springs, Ark.
