Richard Culp, 76, of Pine Bluff died Friday, September 9, 2011,at his home. He was born February 1, 1935 in Gurdon, to Aster B. and Elizabeth Williams Culp. Mr Culp moved to Pine Bluff from El Dorado in 1951, and graduated from Pine Bluff High School, in 1954. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad, as a conductor, retiring in 1994, after 30 years of service. He was a member of South Side Baptist Church since 1951, where he served as a deacon, and Director of Adult IV Sunday School Department. He was also an avid golfer for many years. Mr. Culp is survived by his wife, Loretta Troublefield Culp, who he married December 22, 1955; two sons, Rick Culp of Denver, Colorado, Mike and wife Tina Culp of Tarpon Springs, Florida; a daughter, Juli Robinson of Pine Bluff; two grandchildren, Ashleigh and husband, Adam Felter, Bradley Koogle; three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Devin and Mia. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, with Dr. J.R. Debusk officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Robinson's, Wednesday evening, 6-8 p.m. Memorials are requested to South Side Baptist Church, 2309 S.
