Nancy Elizabeth Venable Williams Rand

Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Venable Williams Rand, 85, of Parkdale, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Trinity Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Rand was a native of Perry County, Arkansas and a resident of Parkdale for over 30 years. She was a homemaker, a farmer and she retired from the Eudora Garment Company after 20 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. "Bud" Rand in 2003; two sons, Ricky & Marshall Williams; her parents, Richard & Savannah Pruitt Venable; a grandson, Darrell Allred and 12 brothers and sisters, She is survived by three daughters, Pat Hall and husband, Thomas, of Pine Bluff; Kathie Strother of Parkdale and Robbie Gaffney and husband, Dennis, of El Dorado; a son, Phillip Williams and wife, Lois, of Redfield; a step-son, Steve Rand and wife, Sherry, of Warren; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services are 2 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the Parkdale Cemetery with Stanton Veazey officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Shannon Hall, Dustin Williams, Ricky Williams and Clayton Williams. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Village Medical Center, Family Council Department, 6400 Trinity Drive, Pine Bluff, Ark. 71603. Visitation will be at the cemetery at 1:30 p.m., Thursday.
