Henry C Robinson, Sr

Henry C. Robinson Sr., 86, of Little Rock, Ark., answered the call to depart from this life to a life far better on September 17, 2011. He was born June 29, 1925 in Little Rock. He will be missed by many. Deacon Robinson was the oldest Deacon at the Longley Baptist Church. He retired from the Little Rock Air Force Base in 2006. He's survived by his five sons, Henry C. Robinson, Jr. (Constance), Charles Robinson, Billy Robinson (Wanda) and Marcus Robinson of Little Rock, Ark., Nathaniel Robinson (Jacqueline) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Dorothy Withers (Albert) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Donna Robinson of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Rev. David Robinson, Jr. (Dorothy) of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Annette Chestnutt of Seattle, Washington; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 11 a.m., at Longley Baptist Church, 9900 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, Ark. The family hour will be Friday, September 23, 2011, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St. Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
