James Donald Robinson, Sr.

James Donald Robinson, Sr., born August 14, 1945 in Des Arc, Arkansas to Charley and Blanche Robinson, passed away September 20, 2011. He joined Fellowship Baptist Church in Des Arc, at an early age. He later joined Mercy Seat Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. James Thrower, where he was a deacon. He loved hunting, fishing, and all children. He leaves to mourn, his wife of 43 years, Marie Robinson; his loving son, James Robinson, Jr.; three sisters, Charlene Loveless of East St. Louis, IL, Geretta Smith (Lindsy) of Hazen, Marie Brazzell (Larry) of Little Rock; two brothers, Arnold Lee Robinson (Portia) of Little Rock, Leland Robinson (Chlo) of Des Arc; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; sister-in-law, Marva Jo Robinson of Des Arc. Family hour: 6-7 p.m. Friday at Robinson Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Baptist Church, 8715 Oman Rd, Dr. James S. Thrower, Eulogist.
