Raymond John Schuett

Raymond John Schuett, 84, of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., originally of Geneva, Ill. died at home on March 14, 2012. While in the Marines and played football for the All Navy Champion Quantico Marine Team. Married to Shirley May Mueller on June 12th, 1948. Had two children Lorie and Scott. Upon leaving the marines he worked as an Engineer for the Northwestern Railroad. He furthered his career as a police officer for the city of Geneva in 1956 retiring in 1978. Continued to work for the States Attorney as a head investigator, and finished his working career as a Head Baliff for the divorce court. He fully retired to Horseshoe Bend, Ark. in 1992 and enjoyed visits from his children and four grandkids. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley of 64 years, two children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters. Funeral Service were held in Geneva, Ill., March 22, 2012, he was buried with full Military honors. Contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church of Geneva or The Shriner's Hospital.
