Peggy Barr Williams

Peggy Barr Williams, 80, of DeWitt died April 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle (Shag) Williams and parents, Mayo and Christine Barr. Survivors are daughters: Diane Dougan, Doylene Hinze (Victor), Charlotte Williams, Sharon Higgerson (Phillip),  two sisters, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at Essex Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
