William Neil Wooldridge

William Neil Wooldridge, 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 8th, 2012. He was born in Cave City, Arkansas on December 20th, 1926 to William Edgar Wooldridge and Thelma Laman Wooldridge. William was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He retired from Montgomery Ward after working there for 30 years. William also loved baking, especially baking cakes. He was a Veteran who served in the Army. William was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Wooldridge; his parents; and a sister, June Manning. He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Stroud of North Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandson, Christopher Stroud and his wife, Amy; great-grandchildren Chloe Stroud, Mia Stroud, Alexis Satterfield, and McKenzie Satterfield; one sister, Linda Stanbury of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers, Don Wooldridge of Bartlett, Tennessee, James Wooldridge of Evening Shade, Arkansas, and Gary Wooldridge of Las Vegas, Nevada. Services for William will be Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Roller- Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501) 791-7400, with Rev. Joe Manning officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, April 11th, 2012. He will be buried in the Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
