Brinda Joyce James

Brinda Joyce James, 70 of Hardy, Ark., died on Wednesday at Advanced Care Hospital of White County. Born Saturday, April 19, 1941 in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late William Marian McClanahan and the late Ruth Barber. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hardy. Brinda is survived by her husband Eddie James of the home and her sons, Rick Haynes of Cherokee Village, Ark. and Mike Haynes of Blytheville, Ark., brother, William M McClanahan Jr., of England, Ark., twin sister, Linda Wood of Monroe, La., five granddaughters and two great granddaughters. A celebration of her life was held 4 p.m. on Sunday at Heath Funeral Home with the Dr. Larry Kendrick officiating. Memorials contributions may be sent to Arkansas Boy's and Girl's Ranch St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
