John Loyd Speer

Mr. John Loyd Speer 77, of Bee Branch, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He was born August 10, 1934 at Wynne, Arkansas to the late John H. and Bessie L. (Johnson) Speer. John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force a deacon, music director and ordained minister. He is survived by his wife Rachel A. (Garrett) Speer, one daughter, Gwen and James Forrest of North Little Rock, Ark.; four grandchildren, Sarah Crossett of South Korea; Aaron Forrest of North Little Rock, Ark.; Jason and Jenifer Forrest of North Little Rock, Ark.; and Steven and Malia Forrest of Cabot, Ark.; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Forrest of North Little Rock, Ark.; Nicholas Forrest and Nathan Forrest both of Cabot, Ark.; two sisters, Margaret Konings of Garland, Texas; and Bess M. Perry of Little Rock, Ark.; half-sister, Sammie Arnst of Kosse, Texas; and half brother, James and Tracy Ausbrooks of North Little Rock, Ark.; and many friends and relatives.
