Aldah Mae Hogue, 82 of Beebe, Ark. passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012. She was born April 23, 1929 in Lonoke, Ark. to the late E.J. and Luella Hart Staton. Aldah loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them outdoors fishing, gardening and decorating. She was retired from K.C. Baking Powder Company, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church-North Little Rock. Cherishing her memory are her husband of 62 years, James Allen Hogue; daughter, Carolyn Hogue Polk (George) of Waller, Texas; two sons, Gary Hogue (Sharon) of Clarksville, Ark., and Phillip Hogue (Robin) of Beebe, Ark.; five grandchildren, Marlana Chronister, Amberly, Emily, Abby and Andrew Hogue; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Livia Chronister; and a host of other friends and relatives. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501)835-3515 with Rev. Randy Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
