Aubrey Charles Smith Jr.

Aubrey Charles "Chuck" Smith Jr., 49, of Sherwood, AR, passed away at his home, Thursday April 19, 2012. Born in Tulsa, Okla., on June 1, 1962, he was the son of the late Aubrey C. Smith, MD of North Little Rock and Kay Kessler Weatherly of Conway, Ark. Chuck was a 1980 graduate of Conway High School and graduated from UALR with a degree in business. Chuck was an avid fisherman and enjoyed duck hunting as well. He loved being with family and friends and sharing memories He was extremely proud of his daughter Tori. Chuck's kind soul and quick wit will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey C. Smith, MD; step-father, Harley O. Weatherly, DDS; grandparents: Aubrey and Adele Smith, Bobs and Ola Ruth Kessler all of Pine Bluff. Chuck is survived by his wife, Marilyn Smith of Conway; his mother Kay Weatherly, of Conway; daughter; Victoria "Tori" Hudson of Arnold, Mo.; sisters, Lisa (Pat) Hum of Conway, Tandy (Brent) Miller of Little Rock, Kelly (Rick) Ward of Little Rock; a brother, Justin (Sheri) Gunn of Flower Mound, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mayflower Church of Christ or the Areopagus Camp, c/o Mars Hill Church of Christ, Vilonia, Ark. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Jack Shock and Don Pharis officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with Brent Miller, Andrew Miller, Pat Hum, Patrick Hum, Nick Hum, Justin Gunn and Rick Ward serving as pallbearers.
