Glen Wane Bowren, 80, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was a retired CW03 in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He spent many years in the car business and retired from Jones Nissan. He enjoyed going to the horse races but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He is survived by his son, Michael Bowren, of Little Rock; daughter, Barbara Pangle and husband, Curtis, of North Little Rock; son, Art Bowren and wife, Karen, of Sherwood and son, Bobby Bowren, of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Megan Pangle Wilson and husband, Dade, Aubrey Pangle, Nick Bowren, Britt Bowren, John Michael Fowler, and Lauren Bowren; his great-grandson, Joby Wilson and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Bowren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
