Jearl Dee (J.D.) Reedy

Jearl Dee (J.D.) Reedy, age 82, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Conway Regional Medical Center. Born in Rose Bud on June 23, 1929, he was the son of the late Odis William and Bail (Moffit) Reedy. Mr. Reedy was a retired employee of Arkla Gas. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Mr. Reedy is survived by one son, Robert Reedy (Julie) of Rose Bud; three daughters, Jeri Vangilder (Doug) of Russellville, Donna Redding (David) of Heber Springs, and Nancy Meador (Greg) of Cabot; sister, Wanda Lee Nichols of Kensett, seven grandchildren, Bethany and Tyler Vangilder, Dana and Devin Redding, Bailey Meador, and Robby and Brayden Reedy. Visitation will be held Friday, April 27, from 6-8 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28, at 10 a.m. in the Olmstead.
