Ruth Atkins Trotter

Ruth Atkins Trotter, age 76, of Birmingham, Alabama formerly of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. She was born October 23, 1935 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to the late Maynard and Etta L. Atkins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dilmer C. Trotter, four brothers, Hugh Leslie Atkins, Henry Ford Atkins, Hassel D. Atkins, Harold L. Atkins, and a sister Joyce Atkins Rose. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Trotter Patrick and her husband Billy, two grandsons, Will Patrick and Mitch Patrick, one great-granddaughter, Madison Patrick, several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends and neighbors in Jacksonville. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
