Burnadean M. (Calhoun) Watkins, 90 of Griffithville, was born October 22, 1922 and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 5, 2012. Burnadean was preceded in death by her parents Opal Cole and George Calhoun, her siblings Florine Eans, Juanita McAllister, George Calvin Calhoun, Thurmon Calhoun and her husband of 62 years, Robert Lee Watkins. She was a 25 year retiree of the Sperry Vickers Factory and a faithful member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church for more than 60 years. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Granny, Sister, Aunt, and Friend who will always be remembered for her love of flowers and plants.

She is survived by her son, Robert Keith Watkins (Janie); and her daughter, Brenda Joyce Allen all of Griffithville. In addition she is survived by four grandchildren, Carrie Foster (Cody); Lindsey Baker (James); Brian Lee Allen; and Bradley Watkins (Laney); six great-grandchildren, Alexis CodyLee Foster; Kayleigh Danielle Baker; Josie Abbygail Baker; William Bradley Watkins; twins, Owen Robert and Rachel Lee Watkins. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral Service will be at the Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in West Point Cemetery. For online guestbook

Were very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one can bring pain and sadness. But the Bible can provide us with hope and comfort. At John 5:28, 29 were told that soon there will be a resurrection and we will be reunited with our loved ones. I hope this thought provides your family with some comfort
