Floyd Allen Boney, 65, of Little Rock, passed away in peace, surrounded by his loved one's, Tuesday, December 4, 2012. He was born on October 9, 1947 in Jones, Louisiana to the late Vernice Boney and Opal Harris. He was a Veteran of Vietnam and retired from the National Guard after 22 years of service. Floyd enjoyed serving his country for as long as he could. He worked for Windsor Door and 3 M Corporation. Floyd enjoyed hunting and spending time at the lake fishing. He enjoyed watching the birds in his yard and playing with his two dogs Rocko and Molly. But most of all he loved spending time with his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Ann whom he called Ms. Wootty and she was by his side through his long battle with cancer. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Tammy M. Boney, a stepson, Frankie Yarberry, two brothers; David Boney and Glen Boney of Little Rock. Floyd is survived by a stepdaughter, Dee Ann Yarberry Jones (Len), stepson, Robert Yarberry (Becky) all of Little Rock; two sisters; Donna Whithers of Benton and Monda Osborne (Marvin) of N. Little Rock; one brother, Rick Boney of Little Rock. Along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Floyd's life will be held at 12 noon Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Ironton Baptist Church, 14718 Ironton Cut-Off Road, Little Rock, with Brother Sidney Thompson officiating.
