Harold Wayne Bolin

Harold Wayne Bolin, age 70, of Heber Springs, Ark., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Wilmer, Ark., on Feb. 13, 1942, he was the son of the late Roy Veldon and Ellena Sawyer Bolin. Mr. Bolin had been employed as a director of education and training for Arkansas General Contractors. He was a Gideon Church Speaker and was the Regional Program Leader for Scripture Distribution. He was a member of the South Cross Roads Church. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Maxadale Ballard and Frances Young. Mr. Bolin is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Bolin of Heber Springs; one daughter, Kelly D. Prather of Benton; three sisters, Sybil Taylor of Conway, Ark., Dorothy Arendt of Little Rock, Ark., and Margaret Johnston of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Keith Bolin of Austin, Texas; five step-children, Curtis Hodges, Carl Hodges, Cynthia Hodges, Carol Feix, and Cheryl Alexander; three grandchildren, Kayla Thomas, Joshua Prather, and Jacob Prather; and his step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 10, at 11 a.m. at South Cross Roads Church with Rev. Kenneth Rolland Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Magness Cemetery.
