Barbara J. McKay

Barbara J. McKay, 87, of Conway, died February 2, 2012. She was born September 10, 1924, in Sweet Home, Arkansas, to the late Edgar and Pearl (Foyle) Morden. She served in the Army during World War II, as an RN. She is a retired RN from Conway Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack McKay; four sisters and two brothers. Barbara is survived by one daughter, Sandra Stacks (Pete) of Russellville; two grandchildren, John Stacks of San Diego, California and Lauren Hammond (Jared) of Greenwood, Arkansas; one brother, Donald Morden of Homestead, Florida; one sister, Betty Sue Rigby of Miami, Florida; and a special friend and caregiver, Joann Fortson of Conway. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, in Conway. Barbara's graveside service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
