Goldia Mae Murray

Goldia Mae McClain Murray of Shirley Ark. passed peacefully on Feb. 24, 2012 at Batptist Hospital at the age of 91. She was born Sep. 10, 1920 to Lonza T. McClain and Alta Sutleff McClain in Brumley, Mo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Murray; her parents; her sister Gladys McClain Murray; two brothers, Lowell and L. T. McClain. She attended Maranatha Assembly of God and was of the Pentecostal Faith. Survivors are a son Darrel Murray (Trudy) of San Angelo, Texas and a daughter, Doris Murray Brown (Benny) of Shirley Arkansas. Four granddaughters Karen Lynn McNally of Hico Texas, Tyrene Gardner of Shirley Bennetta Caston of Onia and Tracy Fraley of Grandbury, Texas; and two grandsons Jodie and Lyle Murray of Texas; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandaughters; and several nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Services will be Monday at Shirley Community Church. Visitation will start at noon, and the funeral will be at 2 with Eddie Ragsdale and Lee Brown officiating.
