Barbara Ann Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 70, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. Barbara was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 26, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Crownrich and Lovie Joyce Malone Crownrich; grandson Steven Brooks; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joyce Carr. Barbara retired from the State of Arkansas Plant Board after more than 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. Her memory will be cherished by her daughters, Terri Brooks Dupuy of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Barbra Brooks of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and grandchildren, Charish Mason, Amy Robertson and Cody Dupuy; five great grandchildren; and sisters, Pat Humphrey (Charles) of Beaumont, Texas, Judie Stender (Bobby) of Cabot, Arkansas and Kaye Beck (Richard) of Austin, Texas. She also leaves to memory her cherished friends, Margie and Mike Spears of Ward, Arkansas. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park of 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
