Carl "C.B." Wilson departed to be with his Lord and Savior on February 25th, 2012. He was born September 26, 1948 to Joe B. and Ira Wilson of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wilson; one son, Carl Foster Wilson (Jesse Whiteaker); two daughters, Ira Denise Holland (Roy) and Barbara Leann Bishop (Bubba); two brothers, Charles Wilson and Wick Wilson (Becky); one sister, Sue Cox (Marvin); three loving grandchildren, Kaylee, Hunter, and Cooper. Founder and Pastor of New Beginnings Mission of the Furlow Community, CB loved the Lord and shared the word of Jesus Christ with all he met. He also proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran We want to give thanks to all the nursing staff at the VA Hospital that traveled the road of sickness with us; especially the nurses in ICU, 6C, 6E, and Hematology/Oncology therapy. Thank you all for the compassion and love for him. You are all angels. Memorials may be made to New Beginnings Mission, 3301 Hwy 294, Jacksonville, Ark. 72076. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday February 29, 2012 in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
