Robert Lloyd Renner

Robert Lloyd Renner, 75, of Higdon died Saturday, February 25, 2012. He was born June 19, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Jess and Florence Weburg Renner. Mr. Renner served 22 years in the United States Air Force where he earned the Air Force Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Combat Readiness Medal. He was a wonderful, loving and supportive father. He loved his true and best friend Daisy, his beloved dog. They are taking the journey together. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and just being outside with nature. He will be missed immensely. Mr. Renner is survived by his former wife of 22 years, Billie Jean Renner Hendrickson of North Little Rock; his two daughters, Kimberly Ann King of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Cynthia Lynn Koplin of Ward; two granddaughters, Jennifer Lynn Young of Jacksonville and Amy Marie Womack of Cabot; two great granddaughters, Abigail Lynn Triplett and Grace Elizabeth Young, both of Jacksonville and one sister, Thelma Allen of Hobe Sound, Florida. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday.
