Carroll Franklin Ogden

Carroll Franklin "Big Daddy" Ogden, age 68, of Morrilton, went home to be with his heavenly father, beloved son and mother on January 4th, 2012, after a long painful illness. He was born July 11, 1943 to Madelyn and Elmer Ogden of Morrilton, Arkansas. Carroll was an ultimate father, grandfather, and great-grandfather adoring each and every one of them and they loved their "Big Daddy." His death has left a vast void in the lives of his family but his legacy of love, jokes, and laughter will be forever remembered. Carroll was preceded in death by his beloved son, Steve Ogden; mother, Madelyn Rogers; sister, Quanita Ward; and wife, Nancy Ogden. Carroll is survived by his daughters, Michelle Ogden and Angela Downing of Morrilton; one brother, James (Lillie) Ogden of Oppelo; sisters, Joyce Stell of Morrilton, and Cloyce (J.W.) Brents of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and two beautiful great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Harris Chapel with Burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
