Sherrilynn Willeford

Sherrilynn Willeford, 52, of Biscoe, died June 30, 2012, after a battle with lung cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Steve Willeford; two children, Joseph (Kendra) Willeford of Des Arc and Leah (Danny) Woodall of Biscoe; two beautiful granddaughters, Karly Grace Woodall and Kalli Jo Willeford and two grandsons, Bryce and Brayden Baxter; mother, Daisy Hall; siblings, Sonja (Vernon) Owens of De Valls Bluff, Beverly Tipton (Gary Holland), Brenda (Charles) Simpson of Biscoe, Paul (Donna) Hall of Wynne, Gloria (Henry) Strohl of Tollville and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jewell P. Hall Sr. and maternal grandparents, Mae and Jessie Prim and Paternal grandparents, L.F. (Buster) and Lillie Hall; beloved nephew, Aaron Hall and niece, Leslie Nottingham. Jewell and Daisy Hall had the best Christmas gift God could give them with the birth of their youngest child, Sherrilynn on Dec. 25, 1959. She grew up in Biscoe and graduated from De Valls Bluff High School where she met the love of her life, Steve Willeford. They were married May 19, 1978. Two years later, they welcomed a baby boy, Joseph and a year and a half later, their daugher, Leah. In 2008, she was blessed with her first granddaughter, Karly Grace and 2009, her second, Kalli Jo Willeford. Two grandsons, Bryce and Brayden Baxter, completed her family in 2011. Her grandchildren were her greatest treasures. She spent her life taking care of the family she loved so much. In 2011, she retired from the State of Arkansas Department of Human Services after 17 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Brasfield. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 2, at Westbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Hazen. Funeral servicces will be 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Biscoe, Ark. with interment in the Biscoe Cemetery.
