Mary Louise Miller of Maumelle passed away on June 29, 2012. Louise (Weezy) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 1, 1928. She left Cincinnati with her husband Robert (Bob) in 1952 and moved to Memphis where they lived, worked, and began to raise their two daughters Sandra and Suzanne. They were transferred to Baltimore in 1967 where they lived until Bob's retirement in 1985. They then moved to Maumelle to enjoy retirement with family already residing in Maumelle. Louise was known for her talents in dancing, sewing, jewelry making, song and her keen eye for decorating. Her family and friends enjoyed her sense of humor, outgoing personality, and compassion for others. Her work at the church daycare reflected her ability to act silly with kids. She loved children and it showed. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bob Miller. She leaves to treasure her memory her daughters, Sandra O'Brien (Frank) of Maumelle, and Suzanne Heidenheim (Ray) of Shrewsbury, Mass.; grandchildren, Kristen Conwell (Craig) of Maumelle, Nicole Heidenheim (Travis Rollins) of Boston, Mass., Sarah O'Brien of Dallas, and Nalani Fosher (Josh) of White Plains, New Mexico. She was proud to be the great-grandmother of Carly and Claire Conwell and enjoyed watching their swim meets and cheer competitions. The family would like to recognize the Maumelle Senior Citizens Wellness Center for providing friendship, good food, and lots of fun during the last years of her life. The "Center" was very important to her. Her faith in God was strong and she knew that she would join Bob and all of her animals when she took her journey to heaven. That day unexpectedly came too soon for her family, but it was God's plan. She led an active life until the moment she took that journey. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Maumelle. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to FUMC or Maumelle Animal Shelter. Arrangements made by Roller-Owens Funeral Home, (501-791-7400). Online guestbook www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/owens.
